Veganuary Delights at IBB Hotel and Cugó Gran Collections

Elevating Plant-Based Dining

This January, IBB Hotel Collection and Cugó Gran Collection are taking the lead in embracing the Veganuary movement by continuing to introduce more delectable plant-based and vegetarian dishes across our diverse range of restaurants. As a renowned hotel chain committed to culinary excellence, IBB Hotel and Cugó Gran Collection recognise the growing demand for innovative and satisfying vegan and vegeterian options. Let’s explore how we are redefining Veganuary with a culinary experience that goes beyond expectations.

What is Veganuary?

Veganuary is a month-long commitment to a vegan lifestyle and is celebrated every January. This movement encourages individuals to explore the benefits of plant-based living, not only for personal health but also for the environment and animal welfare.

Introducing a diverse array of vegan and vegetarian options at our restaurants is of paramount importance in fostering inclusivity and catering to the evolving dietary preferences of a global clientele. As awareness of the environmental impact of meat consumption grows and health-conscious choices become more prevalent, offering a robust selection of plant-based dishes demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and customer well-being.

By expanding vegan and vegetarian offerings, we are not only aligning with contemporary ethical and environmental concerns but also appealing to a broader customer base, accommodating individuals with diverse dietary needs and preferences. This not only enhances the overall dining experience for guests but also positions us as a socially responsible and forward-thinking company, contributing to the positive transformation of the hospitality industry.

In this blog, we will delve into the culinary world of Veganuary and explore the innovative approaches taken by our four restaurants: Nieznana, The Little Bastion, Städerer, and Piu Vicino.

With a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences, IBB Hotel Collection and Cugó Gran Collection understand the importance of catering to diverse dietary preferences, including the rising interest in plant-based living. The hotel chain’s culinary team has curated vegan and vegetarian choices on each of our restaurants’ menus that showcase the versatility of plant-based ingredients while maintaining the high standards for taste, presentation, and nutritional value that our restaurants are known for.

Whether you’re dining at the upscale restaurants Nieznana, or Städerer, our bistro The Little Bastion, or grabbing a quick bite at Piu Vicino, IBB Hotel and Cugó Gran Collection ensure that there’s a tempting array of vegan and vegetrian options for every palate. From hearty and comforting soups to sophisticated plant-based entrees, the menus reflect a thoughtful blend of flavours and textures to satisfy even the most discerning diners.

In line with IBB Hotel Collection and Cugó Gran Collection’s commitment to sustainability, our menus prioritise locally sourced, organic produce. This not only enhances the freshness and quality of the dishes but also aligns with the hotel chain’s broader sustainability goals.

In 2023, we committed ourselves to have 60% of all our meal options across our IBB hotels in Europe, as well as our Cugó Gran brand, to be vegan and vegetarian as of 2024. We are well on our way towards this goal and on average in 2023, more than half of the meal options on our menus are vegan and vegetarian already.

IBB Hotel Collection and Cugó Gran Collection are setting a new standard for Veganuary with our dedication to offering a diverse, delicious, and sustainable dining experience. As guests embark on a culinary journey within the hotel’s restaurants, they not only savour the exquisite flavours but also contribute to a more compassionate and eco-friendly way of dining.

We invite everyone to indulge in the pleasures of Veganuary, where plant-based options are not just a trend but an integral part of an enriching culinary experience.
